The “Tiger” name has been quite a popular one for Triumph, dating all the way back to the 30s. We know it now as an adventure bike that goes back to 1993, but back in 1970 the British firm bestowed the jungle cat nomenclature on the TR6. The 649cc air-cooled parallel twin pushed 42 horsepower through a 4-speed transmission with a right-side shifter.
