ICONIC PROJECTS: if you follow us on Instagram (and you should!), you know that we’ve recently partnered up with Kamikaze Motorsports in Glenwood, Iowa. One of the many new services that will be coming from our partnership is a series of project bikes for those of you that like to tinker or are looking for a lower entry price to a bike you’ve always wanted for our White Glove service to fix up on your behalf.

Additional photos are available here for your perusal.

The GS550 was one of Suzuki’s earliest 4-stroke bikes, and while it wasn’t as popular as its bigger brother GS750, it was still a competent standard. The 550 put out 49 horsepower and weighed 431 pounds wet, good for a top speed of 111 miles per hour.

The GS550ES model was designed to be a direct competitor to Kawasaki’s GPz model. The 550ES incorporated a half fairing setup to give it a more sporting appearance and differentiate it from the more standard GS550 models.

This example is VIN: JS1GN74A3G2102011

The odometer shows 30,690 miles.

Vance & Hines exhaust.

Cosmetic Blemishes:
The front turn signals are damaged.

There is damage to the right front upper cowl.

There is some corrosion on the engine.

There is peeling paint on the tank.

This GS550ES turns over, it has some light rust in the tank, a dead battery and will need a going through before it’s ready to hit the road.

Currently located at our facility in Glenwood, Iowa (please make an appointment for an inspection),this Suzuki is offered on a clean Arizona title.
