Honda’s illustrious history includes an incredible run of 250cc inline-four screamers which culminated in the MC22 generation of the CBR250RR. But the bike that started it all was the MC17 CBR250R – a revelation for Japanese riders with tiered licenses that capped them at a quarter of a liter.
The MC17 was only made for one year before it was replaced by the MC19 in 1988, and both bikes were only offered in the Japanese Domestic Market. It produced 40 horsepower and 17 foot-pounds of torque with a staggering redline of 18,000 rpm! Dry weight was just 337 pounds.

During his ownership, the seller has covered 300 miles. The odometer shows 5,800 miles.
