When the Nighthawk 750 came onto the scene, standard bikes were the do-it-all go-to option for many a consumer. From cruising long miles down an open stretch of road, to the winding and twisting roads of a nearby canyon, these bikes were made to handle anything that was thrown their way.

With the rise in popularity of bikes known as UJM’s (universal Japanese motorcycle), Honda aimed to release a model that struck at the chords of all who wished to relive the past through an engine and two wheels. The Nighthawk debuted with an astoundingly low sticker price, but what attracted potential buyers was the features that came with that number: The bike came with an aluminum oil cooler, a set of 16 self-adjusting valves, an automatic cam-chain adjuster, a pair of 41mm forks, as well as front and rear running lights.

Power came from Honda’s tried-and-true 747cc four-stroke DOHC inline-four. When paired with a five speed gearbox, it was good for 75hp at 8,500rpm and 47lb-ft of torque at 7,500rpm. All-in, it could take riders to a top speed of 128mph.

This example is VIN: JH2RC3812PM200238. The seller acquired it one year ago.

During his ownership, the seller has covered approximately 3,000 miles. However, there is no odometer, so true mileage is unknown.

Maintenance:
The seller reports that he has rebuilt the carbs and replaced the oil and chain. Additionally, he notes that “the engine is from a 2000 Nighthawk” and that it has “only 8,000 miles.”

As a result of his customization efforts, the seller notes that the bike was featured in 70 Bike magazine.
