Description
Click here for an VINData Motorcycle History Report on this 1994 Honda VFR750.
Introduced in 1990, the RC36 generation of the VFR was considered by many to be one of the greatest all-around motorcycles of its time. In fact, the RC36 was sold between 1990 and 1997, and it won a “Ten Best” award from Cycle World every single year.
From CW’s 1990 story: “The VFR isn’t the fastest in its displacement category, and it won’t set the quickest lap times around the nearest racecourse. What it will do, with its balance, poise and deftness, is give its rider the best all-around motorcycle in the business.”
Manufactured December 1993, this example is VIN: JH2RC3608RM400151. The seller purchased the bike in 2016 and states, “Purchased from a private seller who could no longer care for it. I rode the bike only occasionally. As an experienced motorcyclist, I never raced or abused it — it was used strictly as a small commuter. It’s a great bike, but I personally prefer cruiser-style motorcycles over this sport bike style.”
During his ownership, the seller has covered approximately 2,000 miles. The odometer shows 14,564 miles.
Maintenance:
Per the seller, “The carburetor’s where rebuilt and oil changed in 2017. Free of mechanical issues.”
Modifications:
Two Brothers Racing slip-on.
It is riding on Metzeler ME Z4 and Metzeler ME Z2 tires with date codes of 138 and 4303.
The sale includes one key and seat cowl.
Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
“Has minor cosmetic flaws and light scratches throughout from normal use. Overall, it’s in great condition for a 31-year-old bike. It has always been garage kept — both by myself and the previous owner.”
