As part of the program, each bike undergoes a comprehensive 90-point inspection, during which time a team of specialized technicians address any areas in need of repair. Within Japan, NAPS Sport Vintage operates a wide network of facilities, offering customers a 1-year warranty upon purchase. Should the buyer have the bike shipped to Iconic Motorbikes, we will complete a post-transport inspection and NAPS will ensure that everything is as represented. However, there will not be an additional warranty once the bike is stateside. In 1991, Honda split the base and SP models of the NSR250R with the introduction of the SE (Super Edition) model. They had all of the SP goodies (dry clutch, adjustable suspension, special livery) except for the magnesium wheels.
Come 1994, the Japanese firm updated the NSR with an all new model dubbed the MC28. The result was arguably the ultimate 250cc street bike in Japan thanks in no small part to the PGM-IV ignition and Pro-Arm single sided swingarm. Also notable was the memory card used to start the bike.
