When it was introduced in 1990, the Kawasaki ZX-11 was the fastest production motorcycle in the world. Part of that came from the fact that it was the first production motorcycle with a ram-air intake, which helped the 1,052cc inline-four engine produce a claimed 145 horsepower and 80 ft-lbs of torque.
In a period review, Cycle World said, “Now two years old, the Kawasaki ZX-11 Ninja is still the baddest, meanest, flat-nastiest motorcycle available. Forget about the other big-bore sportbikes: They’re all slow.”
Despite its immense performance, the Ninja ZX-11 was noted for being easy to ride and easy to maintain, which enabled it to have a lengthy production run that lasted until 2001.

The seller has owned the bike since January 2022, during which time he has covered 1.7 miles. The odometer shows 30,259 miles.
Maintenance:
The seller states that he performed an engine-on-frame restoration in a climate-controlled room. Along with a valve adjustment, he rebuilt the clutch and brake master cylinders, rebuilt the clutch slave cylinder, and changed the oil. Additionally, he notes that he has installed the following new parts:
– Barnett clutch pack with friction and steel plates
– K&N oil filter
– K&N high-flow air filter
– OEM Kawasaki fuel filter
– Front and rear wheel bearings
– OEM fork seals and oil
– OEM steering stem bearings
– EBC front and rear sintered brake pads
– D.I.D gold high tensile rated chain
– Front and rear sprockets
– NGK CR9E spark plugs
– Fuel lines
– POR 15 tank sealer
Modifications:
Yoshimura full exhaust with carbon fiber muffler, Dynojet Stage 1 jet kit.
Chrome levers.
Chrome gas cap surround.
Aluminum chain guard.
Ninja decal delete on side fairing, repainted with three coats each of silver, candy cherry wine, and clearcoat.
Zero Gravity tinted black windscreen and stainless steel windscreen hardware.
Cosmetic Blemishes: The seller notes that all of the paint on the bike was corrected, buffed, and compounded before being topped with Adam’s Polishes ceramic coat.
It is riding on Dunlop Z Sportmax tires with date codes of 1721 and 3521.
The sale includes three keys.
