The 916 truly needs no introduction, but we’ll defer to VisorDown for our favorite summation:

Every once in a while a true classic comes along: James Joyce’s Ulysses, The Beatles’ Revolver, Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs. Greats one-and-all, to be seen, owned or understood by the discerning and devoted. To the list of timeless classics, we can add Massimo Tamburini’s Ducati 916.

Never had a motorcycle provoked such feelings of pure lust or been so coveted. Here was sex made metal, a Sophia Loren in cro-mo steel and alloy. Slim and curvy, the 916 took the breath away from any angle and redefined how a motorcycle could, and should, look.”

This example is VIN: ZDM1SB8S6WB013305.

The seller acquired it less than a year ago from a private party in Virginia and has covered less than 10 miles with it during that time. The odometer shows 12,783 miles.

Fast by Ferracci Forza carbon fiber slipons.

Aftermarket clutch cover and battery tender lead.

Yoyodyne clutch slave cylinder.

Carbon fiber license plate mount.

Cosmetic Blemishes:

The seller has some service records from BCM Motorsports, Power Lodge, and Seacoast Sport Cycle. It got new tires and belts in 2017.

He also “personally did the oil and flushed the brake and clutch fluid in March of 2021.”

He adds that there are “no mechanical issues whatsoever” and that “the bike runs and rides perfect.”

6/7 Update: The seller is throwing in a stand, OEM silencers, and several spare parts.

The seller is letting this go as he has 2 of them and he is thinning out his collection. He just sold a 998S Ben Bostrom through us as well.

Currently located in Islamorada, Florida, this Ducati is offered on a clean Virginia title.
