ICONIC PROJECTS: if you follow us on Instagram (and you should!), you know that we’ve recently partnered up with Kamikaze Motorsports in Glenwood, Iowa. One of the many new services that will be coming from our partnership is a series of project bikes for those of you that like to tinker or are looking for a lower entry price to a bike you’ve always wanted for our White Glove service to fix up on your behalf.
Additional photos of this Honda CBR 929 are available here for your perusal.
Released in 2000, the Honda CBR 929RR is often overlooked (as is the 954) when compared to the earlier CBR 900 and the later 1000RR. The 929 was a well-balanced motorcycle that traded some performance compared to its rivals for a package that was easy to live with on a daily basis. The 2000 Honda CBR929RR was a huge makeover: it got fuel injection, upside down forks, and a titanium exhaust along with many other changes all done in the typical excellent fit and finish Honda is known for.
This example is VIN: JH2SC44051M101246.
The odometer shows 23,177 miles.
Solo tail cowl cover.
Zero Gravity tinted windscreen.
Steel braided brake lines front and rear.
The bike turns over but the battery is dead and will need to be replaced. The tank is clean.
Currently located at our facility in Glenwood, Iowa (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Honda is offered on a clean Utah title. Have any CBR929RR stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
