After Aprilia was bought by Piaggio, they came out with a pair of enduro/supermoto machines that were unlike anything the world had ever seen. Available in 450 and 550cc models, the RXV (enduro) and SXV (supermoto) ditched the usual carb’d singles for a fuel-injected V-twin. The result was 60 hp at the crank (for the 450) in a bike that weighed well under 300 pounds ready to ride.

The seller of this example (VIN: ZD4VSC4047S000095) acquired it two years ago from a private party in Miami, Florida.

The seller removed the odometer with approximately 3,500 miles on it. True mileage is unknown but the seller estimates that he’s put 6,000 miles on it after the odometer was removed. He says that “this is my baby, I never thought I would sell it but I want to get into racing sportbikes. A lot of money and love has gone into this bike – I have bought the best of the best for it. You will never find another SXV450 this well maintained or with this many extras.”

Modifications:
Full titanium dual Arrow exhaust.

STM slipper clutch, stronger ignition coils, Pro Taper bars and bar pad.

VDB-spec shortened swingarm, Tusk wheels, aftermarket wave rotors.

Power Commander 5 (tuned with multi-map option) and dual radiator fan setup.

LED headlight.

Additional Parts
There are two suspension setups. The off-road/street set up is currently equipped, but the seller has another set up specifically for the track (stiffer and 20mm shorter forks).

There are three sets of rims. The 21″/18″ MX set up (rear has a Michelin bib mousse) are currently equipped, but the seller also has two supermoto sets. The silver set is 17″ and the red/black is 16.5″ for track use.

It also comes with a spare frame (VIN: ZD4VSH0056S000551), subframe, and a stock length swingarm.

The sale includes a complete spare set of plastics.

Per the seller, “I over-maintain it but I do it all myself so I do not have records of it.” He has spare brakes, radiators, an ECU, some engine parts (head gaskets, pistons, rings, bearings) and six sprockets for different setups that are all included as well.

Currently located in Miami, Florida, this Aprilia is offered on a clean Florida title. Have any SXV stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
