Click here for an VINData Motorcycle History Report on this 2011 Ducati Diavel Carbon.
When development of the Diavel began, it was set to be a “Mega-Monster, a blend of sport-naked and sportbike” per Ducati Product Manager Stefano Tarabusi. As the bike developed, a cruiser form appeared and what resulted was a uniquely styled, category-defying machine housing a 1198cc L-twin Testastretta engine with serious juice.
The powermill cranked out 162 hp and 94 ft-lbs of torque. This power paired with a 62.6 inch wheelbase, slightly forward handlebars, 30.3 inch seat height, and footpegs a shade forward of the seat provided a wicked ride on the sportbike-cruiser-naked-hybrid.
With the Diavel Carbon, Ducati added forged aluminum Marchesini wheels, milled aluminum brake disc carriers, and carbon fiber parts aplenty. As MCN put in its review, “If you like the idea of a sporty naked bike with a bit of cruiser attitude and head-turning styling, the Ducati Diavel will certainly appeal and it deservedly has a huge worldwide fanbase.”
This example is VIN: ZDM13BLW8BB000752. The seller purchased the bike four years ago from a private party and states, “Was interested in the bike for a while then purchased. Bike used casually for weekend rides only.”
