With an update for its 50th anniversary 2009, Triumph gave the Bonneville a lovely blend of modern and retro – it introduced Keihin fuel injection but kept the look of carbs feeding the 865cc parallel twin engine. Triumph claimed 67 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and 51 lb-ft at 5,800 rpm. With classic style and an approachable drivetrain, the fuel-injected Bonnie became a popular platform for customization.

The SE, also introduced in 2009, carried over many design elements from previous models such as the black engine, cast alloy wheels and upswept megaphone exhaust silencers; but sported a metal tank badge, polished alloy engine covers and ‘shortie’ mudguards.

This example is VIN: SMT900K16BT459730. The seller purchased the bike from a private party one and half years ago.

During his ownership the seller has covered approximately 1,412 miles. The odometer shows 2,502 miles.

The seller states, “New S22 Bridgestone tires. New synthetic oil and filter. New battery. Fresh clutch and brake fluids. Unfortunately two months after I purchased it, I had a ridiculous minor accident. I ended breaking an endbar mirror which also caused a tiny dent (dime size) in the left side of the fuel tank. Also a scratch in the clutch side cover. My insurance declared the bike salvage because of the high cost of the fuel tank replacement and of course the rest of the parts that had to be ordered from England. (I have pics of the bike damage for proof).”
