Thanks to an updated electronics package with wheelie control, engine braking control, and traction control, reviewers believed it wasn’t just faster than the 1199, it was more user friendly, as well. The “S” model took a step further with a LED headlight, controls for manipulating the safety tech on the fly, forged Marchesini wheels, and Ohlins electronic suspension.

“Fluid and filter changes only on my end (I’ve only had it a year and 165 miles). Previous owner indicated the major was done early at purchase but does not have the paperwork. Contacted the dealer/service center that performed the work and they lost their database when they transitioned to a new system in July of 2020. They did verify that they sold the bike and that they usually perform the next major before a sale. Last oil change at 7,117 and 7,200 until the next service.” The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues.
