Aprilia introduced the Tuono just after the turn of the millennium, and the naked Italian superbike has remained an important model in the Noale firm’s lineup ever since. Just like with its full-faired counterpart, the Tuono V4 was well received by the riding public – a good-looking bike with a well-designed chassis, top-shelf components, and an exotic roaring V4 exhaust note that was purely sublime. The 1100 debuted in 2016 with an output of 175 hp at 11,000 rpm and 88.5 ft-lbs of torque at 9,000 rpm.
Helping keep the rubber side down was a much-improved electronics package. Known as Aprilia Performance Ride Control (or APRC), the advanced suite of electronics included eight-level traction control, three-level wheelie and launch control, three riding modes (Sport, Race, and Track), and a factory quickshifter. Each rider aid is adjustable on the fly via hand controls on the left bar.
The seller of this example (VIN: ZD4KGU003JS000547) acquired it six months ago from Southeast Motorcycle.
In those six months, he’s covered 1,700 miles. The odometer shows 3,441 miles.
R&G frame sliders and front/rear axle sliders.
The seller states that there are no mechanical issues. Cosmetically, we note a scratch in the frame.
The left side bar end is not pictured, however the seller has it and it will be installed prior to pick up.
The seller adds that there is a “broken brake lever ball and a slight scrape on the right frame slider” due to coming into the garage too hot. He notes that the bike never went down.
At the asking price, the seller will include a carbon fiber front fender and a Pirelli Rosso III rear tire.
Currently located in Ocala, Florida, this Aprilia is offered on a clean Florida title with registration current through March 2022.
The seller sums it up by saying “it really is a beautiful bike and has the sweetest engine but it is not the bike for me” due to comfort reasons. He’s letting it go to make room for another bike. Have any Tuono stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the comments!
