Description
Owned by parent company CRP group in the business of precision-engineered parts for aircraft and F1 racers, Energica was formed in 2014 with the goal of producing high-performance sustainable motorcycles out of Modena, Italy.
In 2022 they launched their newest model: the Experia, which featured the “longest claimed range of any production motorcycle” at the time (gas or electric): 261 miles in city riding conditions. They also claim 130 miles of highway riding at a steady 73 mph.
The electric motor produces 102 peak horspower (80 horsepower sustained) and 85 lb-ft of torque – it weighs an impressive 22 pounds less than the previous motor and it’s paired with a 22.5 kWh battery pack. Per a review on ADVRider: “Energica’s bikes are the only electric motorcycles that include all three charging capabilities, from plug-it-into-the-wall 110-volt to J1772 240-volt Level II and even a 24-kW Level III “DC Fast” capability that can take the big battery from zero to 80% in a claimed 40 minutes.”
Manufactured June 2023, this example is VIN: ZNNF2B182RS000218.
The odometer shows 35 miles, some of which have been covered during test rides.
