Known as the RF-1200 in the United States, the NXR was one of Shoei’s most popular helmets – it was recently replaced by the NXR 2.
One of the many liveries Shoei offered was called the “Indy”, as it was a replica of the helmet that Marc wore at the 2014 MotoGP of the Americas at Indianapolis Motor Speedway. It features plenty of Red, White, and Blue as well as Stars and Stripes throughout. The rear of the helmet (normally Marquez’s Ant Logo) features a man waving checkered flags with USA and 93.
The seller acquired it from his friend, who had the helmet signed by Marquez near the friend’s home in a suburb of Barcelona:
The helmet has “only been used to drive to see Marc, and return home. Just 20 minutes of use. You can tell it’s new.”
