PLACEHOLDER: COLD START/REV VIDEO
Additional photos of this Kawasaki ZXR750 are available here for your perusal.
Americans know this bike as the ZX-7, but in international markets Kawasaki sold it as the ZXR750.
1993 was a great year for this legendary bike – a model update meant it got the motor from the previous year’s homologation bike (minus the close-ratio transmission and the flat slide carbs) AND it was the first year of the ram-air intake!
Very few changes were made for the 1994 (ZX750-L2) model, but that’s OK because the upgrades bumped up power from 100 to 119 at the crank (a June 1995 test by Performance Bike Magazine showed 108.5 horsepower at the rear wheel). The engine was stuffed into an aluminum perimeter frame and the whole package weighed 452 pounds dry.
This example is VIN: ZX750L023480. The seller acquired it two years ago from a private party.
During his ownership, the seller covered roughly 1,000 miles. The odometer shows 15,420 kilometers (9,581 miles).
The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues, though it could use a full service.
MRA tinted windshield.
The seller notes “two different cracks on the bottom fairing and right side.”
It is riding on Michelin Pilot Road tires that have aged out.
The sale includes two keys and the tool kit.
Currently located in Grand Prairie, Texas, this Kawasaki is offered on a clean Texas title. Have any ZXR750 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
