Called the “Grocery Getter,” this fun custom is a one-of-a-kind shopping cart/go-kart.
The seller built it over a seven-month period, noting “everything you see is custom made and I built it so you can take everything off down to the bare frame.”
It’s powered by a Predator 212cc engine with a Tillotson Racing 240cc upgraded head, intake, jetting, and exhaust. Per the seller, it can go 47 miles per hour.
The brake system is comprised of vented rotors and a hydraulic master cylinder – it’s operated with a handle.
“It has a 4 point harness that’s bolted down to the seat frame.”
The 12V battery has to be recharged for the LED lights, which draw less than 1 amp. The electrical system utilizes a 5 amp fuse.
There is no odometer, true mileage is unknown. The seller says he’s put 200 hours on the motor.
In terms of period maintenance, the seller “would recommend tightening the bolts and changing the oil every 5 rides or so. Tighten the lug bolts – if snapped, use grade 8 or higher bolts.
