Cold Start Video
The seller asked Abhi to take the bike for an extended test ride. Here is a video of Abhi’s Sunday Ride:
One of the better model names in Bimota history, the DB6 Delirio was a naked standard that was part of Bimota’s rebirth once Roberto Comini acquired the firm in 2003. It was the “cheapest” Bimota in the lineup, though it’s hard to call any bike cheap when the MSRP was over $30,000. For that money, you got Ducati’s dual spark air cooled V-Twin, good for 90 horsepower and 70 pound-feet of torque.
For more information, check out this review from Visor Down, who summed it up by saying, “think BMX push bike with a motorcycle engine and you won’t be too far off the mark.”
The Delirio is full of the intricate engineering and attention to detail for which Bimota is known. Its tubular trellis swingarm combines steel tubing with machined billet aluminum, while the sculpted frame components, distinctive pillion peg hangers, and carefully finished hardware give the bike a character all its own.
With its unusual proportions, elaborate construction, and limited-production appeal, the DB6 Delirio is a distinctive example of Bimota’s approach to motorcycle design.
This example is VIN: ZESD611S78R000011. “This was the last of 11 Bimota Delirio DB6’S made in 2008. These motorcycles are a rolling piece of art.”

The odometer shows 2,295 miles.

The seller states:
“The motorcycle is highly prepared and the only changes I would make is adjust the suspension to your weight and driving style. Set the rear sets, brake and shifting levers to where you are comfortable, as well as the clutch and brake levers. The engine is cold blooded and needs some choke when cold and some throttle to idle until warm, then it is perfect. You cannot be shy when driving this motorcycle, its only happy when you drive it as designed, then it is very happy, just hold on!”
Maintenance:
“The tank had to be replaced once. The new tank was supposedly sealed. I run it on non-ethanol 94 octane fuel as it has a plastic tank. 91 is fine but I would suggest fuel stabilizer.”
