To help aid you in valuing certain “iconic” motorbikes, we’re adding some of the machines we’ve sold before the auction site started!
2001 Honda CBR929 Formula Extreme Race Bike. This is the Bruce Transportation-sponsored bike from the early 2000’s and is believed to have been piloted by Roger Hayden but that has not been confirmed. We’ve heard that from numerous sources but can’t say for sure.
Fully equipped with all the trick parts of the time such as Ohlins Forks, Marchesini Magnesium wheels, adjustable rear sets, Öhlins rear shock with adjuster, Erion Pipe and a laundry list of other parts. Also have a full set of extra bodywork on the East Coast including a tank if you plan to race it.
This would be a great addition for the race bike collector as Bruce Racing was a large sponsor with an interesting story. We picked this up as part of a package deal on a RC45 that we had to have. We also have an extra set of the fuel injection and some other spares that go with it. If you plan to race or do track days, just know it has been sitting for a very long time so it would need a complete “go through.”
