This rare Ducati is #171 of only 500 made worldwide, with even fewer allocated for the USA market. These bikes retailed for over $43,000 when released, and featured Bayliss’ racing number and Australian flag graphics!
The 1098R is a true homologation motorbike: full carbon fiber bodywork, titanium engine parts, and a laundry list of upgrades compared to the standard 1098 make this a very rare bike indeed.
She’s in excellent shape with only just over 5200 miles! The only blemish is a very thin and hardly noticeable hairline scratch where it appears a pant button or belt may of grazed it. We may be able to polish it out quite a bit too.
