This 1998 Suzuki Katana in amazing shape, especially considering she’s 20 years old! Designed as a comfortable, versatile alternative to the more extreme GSX-R750, the GSX-750 Katana was powered by a version of Suzuki’s famed oil-cooled inline four, retuned to make it more suitable for street use. The bike’s practicality meant that most were used as intended and ridden hard, and very, very few have survived in this kind of time-capsule condition.
It is 100% stock and includes the OEM exhaust, unmolested rear fender, and the original turn signals: it looks like it just rolled off the Suzuki assembly line! The bike was found in storage and brought back to life with fresh fluids and such. The only damage is a small scratch on the lower where the the bubble protrudes out and another on the other side where it appears it was scraped in storage. We doubt it was ever dropped, as rest of bodywork is in excellent shape.
If you’re planning to ride it, we suggest a thorough mechanical check as we could not verify maintenance, and the tires should be replaced, although they’re just fine for show or collecting. Relive your youth, or complete your Suzuki collection!
