Looking for a REALLY fun track bike or perhaps just a beautiful black Racer for your collection or office? Look no further!
These little two strokes are not only tough to find but next to IMPOSSIBLE to find with this low of miles. It’s a two owner bike that had it stored in a climate controlled environment for most of it’s life which explains the excellent condition.
Here’s the scoop from the owner:
“New RS250 Cup Bike. I am the second owner. Currently 100 miles on the bike. Purchased last year Brand New from Original Owner who had the bike on display. Bike was prepared this year by Pro-Italia in Glendale for the Track. New Pirelli Slicks, new fluids. No Expense Spared. Have all receipts. Bike was run one track day at Button Willow Raceway. Bike performs flawlessly and is a joy to ride. Currently have 15K invested in the bike.”
I had the bike transported down to Los Angeles from the San Juan Islands. Pro-Italia completely went through the bike, rebuilt the carbs, changed fluids, brake pads, etc, in order to get it track ready. The bike today sits exactly as it came from the factory in new condition. I was going to display the bike in my office as a zero mile collectible but it simply begged to be ridden. Glad I made that choice. I have 15K invested in the bike plus another 1K in transport costs from the San Juan Islands. My reserve is low in that I am asking only my purchase price without the transport costs and Pro-Italia costs.
As the current owner states, about 6 months ago, the owner took the bike to Pro Italia and had them go through it and get it ready for a single track day at Button Willow. The service was just over $2000 which included gaskets, seals, fluids, etc. Then he spent another $500 or so on a set of tires and only took her out for ONE track day. The owner is a very relaxed individual and I can tell you from knowing him that he babied the bike and treated her well on it’s track day.
Bike is a 100% stock and needs nothing but a new owner. You’ll have fun on this machine, that’s a promise! Parts are easy to find and their wildly popular in the race scene as their quite easy to work on.
