This 2008 Aprilia 1000R Factory Edition was the OTHER Italian v-twin superbike, but its 60° Rotax-sourced engine offered up both power to match the bikes from Ducati, as well as unexpected reliability and much longer service-intervals. This particular version is sometimes referred to as the “Red Lion” RSV because of the the lion graphic on the fuel tank. It has only 4,566 miles and is ready to ride with some great, tasteful upgrades that include:
Carbon fiber passenger seal cowl/cover
Mivv GP Carbon exhaust cans (stock system is included)
Frame, swingarm, and bar-end slider kit
Puig tinted windscreen
This particular bike is in nearly perfect shape. However there is a 2-3″ mark on the right tail section where the highest bit of the bodywork sticks out. This happened when the bike was originally imported and is actually noted on the original MSO, so you know it was never dropped or damaged after delivery.
Fair warning: the stubby exhaust cans are definitely on the loud side. If you’re shy, this is not the bike for you, and people will most certainly hear you coming. We’d be happy to reinstall the stock system prior to delivery if preferred.
Aprilia RSVs are already pretty trick, but the Factory Edition takes things to a whole new level. Here are some of the features of a Factory model over a standard:
