The 916 truly needs no introduction, but we’ll defer to VisorDown for our favorite summation:

This 916 (VIN: ZDM1SB8S9SB003815) has been sitting for approximately six years. Before it was shipped over to our headquarters in Marina del Rey, California, it was looked at by Peter Boggia and we estimate that it would need between $1,000-$1,500 of work to be roadworthy, including new belts, fluid flush, a valve adjustment, new battery, and new tires.
The previous owner was a service technician at Fast by Ferracci, and it’s received a few knowledgeable upgrades. Most are obvious, such as the carbon fiber exhaust (we believe they are Ferracci units, though they don’t have badging).
There’s also an aftermarket clutch cover by a company called “Road Racing” that we are admittedly not familiar with.

You’ll also get steel braided brake lines and an Ohlins rear shock.
What’s less obvious is that the owner also changed the front fork rake to 23 degrees for quicker turn-in.
The odometer shows 8,261 miles.
This 916 has spent the last few years in storage, and the owner notes that there are some minor scratches on the frame that he believes are from a rodent.
Offered with a reserve that reflects the work needed to make it roadworthy, this well-modified 916 would make for an excellent “winter project”!
