Introduced in 1992, the water-cooled GSX-R600 was capable of hitting a higher top speed than the 750 variant from two years prior. The ’92 and ’93 models are rare finds, and are identical except for the graphics.
The seller acquired this example (VIN: JS1GN75A3P2100564) last year with 4,836 miles as a project which started but did not run.
The seller brought it back to life and then enjoyed it for almost 1,500 miles. The odometer now shows 6,274 miles.
His work included a carb clean/rebuild, new front brake pads, new bar ends, new spark plugs, coolant/brake fluid flush, new fork seals, oil change, and new headlight bulbs.
He also installed Michelin Power RS tires (which now have about 1,200 miles on them).
It is currently located at our Santa Monica location for inspection, and it is offered on a clean Ohio title.
We note a few scratches in the bodywork. Photos of all known issues are included in the album up top.
