In 2004, Aprilia updated their excellent RSV1000R sportbike to the second generation with a bevy of upgrades, most notably the 60-degree V90RR magnesium motor.

It also got dual exhausts, tweaks to the chassis, and new styling.

The base model was called the RSV1000R, but the one you wanted was the Factory.

Why? In addition to the special livery with gold frame, the Factory gained Ohlins suspension/steering damper, carbon fiber bodywork, and forged OZ wheels.

This example (VIN: ZD4RRTR0X8S001016) was originally purchased new on 6/25/2011 at Ride Motorsports in Woodinville, Washington for a total of $12,897.75.

The odometer shows 4,799 miles.

We took this bike in on consignment and then sold it to a client who only put ~100 miles on it before he slipped on gravel in a driveway and fell on the left side. There was no damage to the frame, tank, or steering stops, but it did push the shifter into the frame.

The owner wanted us to fix it up so we replaced every part that had a blemish. It took a very long time to source new old stock parts from Italy but we’re happy to say she’s gorgeous again now.

Modifications:
RhinoMoto bar ends ($66.99)

PSR Click ‘N Roll levers.

Leo Vince dual exhaust (stock exhaust in nice condition included)

Clear taillight by Moto-Tuner ($129.99), clear turn signals with amber bulbs ($28.95), Evoluzione performance air filter ($69.99) and Evoluzione license plate relocator ($54.99).

Puig light smoke windscreen ($79.99)

There is a AF1/Aprilia-branded USB drive on the keychain which includes digital copies of the Motorcycle Workshop Manual, Engine Workshop Manual, a saved thread on Aprilia Forum on how to remove the charcoal canister, and a small digital photo of the bike when it was new in the showroom.

The sale also includes a Technical Information booklet, Dealer Instructions, and a Warranty + Service book.

In addition to the scratch on the frame, we note a scratch on the right side of the tail that’s been filled in but not color-matched.

11-18 Update: As pointed out in the comments (thanks, Maggie!), the “Aprilia” decals on the lower fairings are missing. Here’s an example of what the decals would look like.

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California, this Aprilia is offered on a clean Washington title.
