The seller of this example (VIN: JS1GR7AA2L2102472) was gifted this bike by a friend who used it as a track bike and gave it away when he had to move to Texas.
The odometer shows 29,241 miles.
The seller had us work up an estimate to make this a runner and perform certain cosmetic repairs (such as fixing the dent in the tank and repainting/relining it, installing headlights/taillights/turn signals, etc). All-in, the estimate was approximately $6,200.
The seller is not interested in pursuing the project and would like to find this bike a new home. It is our belief that this GSX-R would best be used for parts to fix up another bike, however our White Glove service would be glad to restore it for anyone that wants to get it back on the road.
