Sold between ’89 and ’99, the FZR600 was an inline-four powered sportbike with a Deltabox frame. In many markets, this bike evolved into the “Foxeye” FZR/YZF, in 1994, though Yamaha kept selling this model for another 5 years.

This example is VIN: JYA3UUC06RA013407.

The seller acquired it two months ago with the intent of restoring it but he has too many projects and is letting this go. He’s put ten miles on it, and the odometer currently shows 20,044 miles.

Per the seller, “the bike runs strong, stops, fires right up and is currently registered. Earlier this year, the previous owner rebuilt the clutch, serviced/lubed the chain, and replaced the oil.”

It is upgraded with a Yoshimura exhaust.

He states that the sole mechanical issue is fork seals that need to be replaced.

He emphasizes that the bike is quite clean under the bodywork and provides a few photos of his Yamaha without fairings:

The sale includes the factory tool kit.

Cosmetically, it has mis-matched plastics. The right lower fairing has a crack and the left side upper fairing has a missing piece.

Currently located in Norco, California, this Yamaha is offered on a clean California title with registration current through October 2021.
