The last generation of Ducati’s air-cooled Supersport bikes was introduced in 1998. As Bennetts puts it, “the 900SS is a fabulous bike whose look has certainly mellowed with age.”

They continue, “the 904cc air-cooled motor is an absolute gem of a power plant with bags of spirit and great reliability and the SS is armed with a very competent chassis.”

“It certainly sits more on the sporty side of the fence, so don’t mistake it for a relaxed sports tourer, but if you still like a bit of fire in your bike’s belly, yet can’t be dealing with the aching wrists you get from a true Ducati sportsbike, the 900SS will suit you right down to the ground.”

It was originally sold in New York State, and the previous owner acquired it with 412 miles. He then sold the current owner the bike “with an odometer reading of 1,630. It came with the original factory manual and original spare key which has never been used.”

The seller acquired it one month ago from a private party in Torrance, California and has put 7 miles on it since. The odometer now shows 1,637 miles.

He add that there are no modifications from stock: “the motorcycle is factory specs and parts.”

During his ownership, the seller has changed the oil.

Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller notes “a minor scuff on the front fairing and scratches on the exhaust pipes.”

The seller states that there are no known mechanical issues – “the motorcycle runs and handles amazing.”

Currently located in Los Angeles, California, this Ducati is offered on a clean California title with registration current through October 2021.
