Description
Additional photos of this 1983 Honda CB1100F are available here for your perusal.
Built for just one year, the Honda CB1100F was a sleek looking standard that evolved from the 900F. In the process, it had tremendous performance – in January of ’83, Cycle World said it was the fastest stock bike they’ve ever tested.
The 4 cylinder engine produced 108 horsepower, good for a top speed of 139 miles per hour.
The US got an optional chin fairing and a slightly different seating position than the rest of the world.
There were two paint scheme options: Candy Pearl Maui Red/Pearl Shell White and the Candy Pearl Kapiolani Blue/Pearl Shell White in front of you here today.
This example is VIN: JH2SC1105DM000683, Engine #: SC11E-0000559.
The odometer shows 21,577 miles.
Cosmetic Blemishes:
There is some chrome pitting, scratches in the bodywork (the most severe of which are on both sides of the front fairing).
There is also a 3.25″ crease in the tank that is difficult to photograph. Photos of all known blemishes are included in the album up top.
The seller notes that it “starts up quickly with 1 choke pump but takes a while to warm up.” It recently received a “minor tune up” which included an oil change, chain lube, and fluid flush.
The tires have date codes of and 4615 and 0917.
Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this is offered on a clean
California title with registration current through May 2022.
