This week, we are auctioning off several motorcycles out of a collection that came to us from Iowa – all with no reserve. Each one of the bikes has been on display for roughly ten years and does not currently run, however we quickly went through them to clean them and determine if they can fire up.

In 1992, Yamaha offered a limited edition replica of their Vance & Hines AMA Supersport bike:
Exact production numbers are hard to pinpoint, but Yamaha took roughly 500 of their standard FZR600s and adorned them with a striking magenta and yellow paint job that emulated the race bike.

They also equipped it with a Vance & Hines exhaust, of course!

Manufactured in September of 1991, this example is VIN: JYA3HHE00NA039018.

It is #147 of the Vance & Hines Supersport Replicas.

The odometer shows 19,381 miles.

It has been on display for roughly 10 years. In preparation for the listing, the seller had us prove that it runs (please see video up top). We gave it a detail and once-over, we note that it will need an oil/filter change, coolant flush, new battery, petcock, carb clean/sync, hydraulic fluid flush, and new tires.

Modifications:
There is a metal badge on the tank with the initials of “MJC”:

Both levers have rubber coverings.

Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the photo album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:

Currently located at our facility in Santa Monica, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Yamaha is offered on a clean Oregon title. Have any FZR600 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
