Click here for an CycleVIN Motorcycle History Report on this 2019 Kawasaki Ninja 400. Additional photos are available here for your perusal.
Introduced in 2018, the Ninja 400 was a gigantic step forward from the Ninja 300. It was more powerful and yet it was lighter, and it instantly became a popular platform for riders who wanted to hit the track.
This example is VIN: JKAEXKH13KDA31892. The seller is the original owner, he purchased it new from Fun Bike Center in San Diego, California in October of 2019.
The odometer shows 1,182 miles. “150 miles were on the street, the remaining is all track. Oil/filter was changed after every track day (have receipts).”
Modifications:
Per the seller, this is a “personal track day bike built by Jeremy Toye at Ninja400R.com (Norton Motorsports). The list is long for parts but comes out to more than $6,000.00:”
GP fork Cartridges, K-Tech fork springs, Norton/ Ninja 400.com MGP Fork Brace, Driven captive wheel spacers, Ferodo CPro carbon ceramic front brake pads.
Penske rear shock. The seller notes that the suspension is set for a rider weighing 200 pounds with gear.
Akrapovic full exhaust system, Vortex rear sets (plus spare set).
Aftermarket quick shifter, shift detent spring (to help with shifting).
Woodcraft riser clip-ons and bars.
Norton Racing folding clutch and brake levers.
Hot Bodies race bodywork color form Green with Color Rite stock paint job, Ninja 400R.Com complete sticker set with spares.
Not pictured is:
Norton Racing Spec ECU flash.
Barnett clutch spring kit.
The sale includes Vortex tire warmers.
It is riding on Pirelli Diablo Superbike slicks – the sale includes a new rear.
Cosmetic Blemishes:
“I did not attach the bike loading ramp to my truck securely enough. I was loading the bike into my pick-up and the back wheel kicked the ramp out. Bike subsequently landed on the tailgate of the truck and the lower cowl of the bodywork. Damages to bodywork include a small crack and a 1/2 inch wide X 3.5 inch deep scuff that exposes some fiberglass.”
“There are no mechanical issues. All of my bikes are started and ran to full temp every weekend. Performed oil changes after each track day on average.”
Currently located in San Diego, California (please make an appointment for an inspection), this Kawasaki is offered on a clean California title current through November 2022. Have any Ninja 400 stories or questions about this listing? Let us know in the “Comments” tab!
