“Whopper of a chopper.” That what Suzuki’s tongue-in-cheek branding for the OR50 (called the Mame-Tan in Japan).

They also said that this “mini-chopper is maximum roadster” with the back rest, high-rise handlebars, and even optional flame decals.

A 49cc “Power Reed” engine yielded 5.5 horsepower and the bike weighed just 148 pounds.

This example is VIN: OR502115815, Engine #: OR502-115911. We believe it’s a 1979 model, but we cannot confirm that.


The odometer shows 10,885 kilometers (6,763 miles).

This bike is currently missing a headlight bulb and the front left turn signal lens, however we will make sure that both are installed before the bike ships.

It is riding on IRC/Inoue tires that have aged out and have cracked sidewalls.
