While the GSX-R750 debuted in 1985 for most countries, the US first got it and the bigger brother 1100 in 1986. It was an instant classic – an aluminum box frame housed a 128 horsepower oil-cooled engine, and it looked the part thanks to the full bodywork. The dry weight was 433 pounds, an impressively low number for the time.
Manufactured in March of 1989, this example is VIN: JS1GV73AXK2102579. The seller acquired it two years ago from the third owner.
During his ownership, the seller has covered 60 miles. The odometer shows 8,567 miles.
Maintenance:
During his ownership, the seller personally handled the following:
“Full brake system refurbished
Full carburetor system refurbished
Engine oil and filter change
Brand new front and rear tires”
Modifications:
Fuel tank has been lined, aftermarket fuel cap assembly.
Zero Gravity windscreen.
Cut rear fender.
Cosmetic Blemishes:
The seller notes that the “right lower cowling has 2 very minor paint chips and the left rear lower side of tank in the blue section has 3 very small paint chips that are almost unnoticeable.”
The “headlights (hi/low), front and rear turn signals, running light and brake light all function perfectly. Charging system works correctly. It is mechanically sound, no leaks or issues The bike is very clean, rides excellent and is very quick. Ready to ride, race or show. Overall condition of paint and bike is excellent.”
