2013 Ducati 1199 Panigale S

In 2012, Ducati evolved their flagship superbike to create the Panigale 1199 – MCN called it a “mold-breaking motorcycle,” as it introduced the next-generation Superquadro engine and it even utilized the block as a stressed member of the frame.

The 90 degree V-Twin motor produced a claimed 195 horsepower with a much higher redline and larger service intervals thanks to the chain-operated desmo valves. What’s more, the 1199 Panigale S was packed with impressive additions like Ducati Traction Control, a Ducati Quick Shifter, some Ducati Electronic Suspension (made by Öhlins), as well as full LED lighting, a carbon fiber front fender, and a set of forged Marchesini wheels.

And the list goes on: several components were made of magnesium alloy, it utilized a wet slipper clutch, and for the first time, it boasted a ride-by-wire throttle. The throttle enabled an advanced electronic system – MCN continued, “it’s a very clever motorcycle and very, very good.”

The odometer shows 12,610 kilometers (7,835 miles).

Maintenance:
In preparation for the listing, our service department changed the oil and oil filter, serviced the chain, replaced the coolant and brake fluid, and gave the bike a detail. Angel did the work, he notes the following in his condition report:
