Retro-inspired modern classics seem to be all the rage right now, but a few companies were well-ahead of the game. One such company was Kawasaki with their ZRX, a bike that Cycle World called a “a replica of a replica” as it was designed to make you think of the iconic 1982 Eddie Lawson Replica.
In 2010, Cycle World called the ZRX1100 a “Best Used Bike”, praising the bike for its styling and overall competence: “Kawasaki has built the best standard bike since standard bikes were standard.” The 1,052cc inline-four engine put down 96 horsepower and 70 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheel, good for a claimed top speed of 143 miles per hour.
This example is VIN: ZRT10C006348. It came to Iconic as an import from Japan; prior history is not known.
The odometer shows 65,940 kilometers (40,973 miles).
