Holding the title of longest-produced motorcycle of any manufacturer, the Royal Enfield Bullet has earned that moniker for good reason. Originally made as a single-cylinder four-stroke that served as an all-around performing motorcycle, the Bullet was notorious for being reliable and popular, making it easy to source parts for. Fast-forward nearly a century, and the Bullet has gone through quite a few refreshes.
In 2007, Royal Enfield changed the Bullet for one of the last times. The motorcycle now featured Enfield’s most recent ‘unit construction engine’ – UCE for short. The 500 UCE came packed with fuel injection, a five-speed transmission, and boasted higher numbers than the previous generations. Ending production in 2020, the Bullet had long since cemented it’s name in the history books as one that would be associated with functionality and it’s utility.
