Description
Click here for an VINData Motorcycle History Report on this 2021 BMW R nine T. Additional photos are available here for your perusal.
Initially introduced in 2014, the BMW R nineT was such a surprise hit that it eventually led to an entire family of bikes – but the original is the best in terms of components.
A dual exhaust, inverted forks, spoke wheels, aluminum fuel tank, and dual gauges (including tachometer) differentiate the model from future variants, all of which were given cheaper price tags and lower specifications to match. It’s a rare case of the original standard being the flagship model. The R nineT (in any form) is a good choice for someone who wants to do some customization. The motor is a classic air/oil-cooled engine that puts out useful power with 110 horses and a significant 86 ft/lbs of torque.
Dating back to 1923, BMW has upheld a tradition of tailoring and building their motorcycles to fit their customer’s wants and needs. This service was known as the ‘Option 719’, denoting anything from a special one-off paintjob, milled parts, to even custom wheels. As a tribute to this tradition, BMW has since introduced the ‘Option 719‘ line, which allows for customers to build their dream bike straight from the factory.
Manufactured in June of 2021, this example is VIN: WB10L5301M6E80942.
