Please note: Iconic Motorbikes acquired this Griso from one of our very close clients as we planned on including it into our rental fleet for Iconic East. It was barely used after it was serviced (only by Adam) and never rented. After careful consideration and talking to two of our Manufacturer Partners (Aprilia and BMW), we’re opting to use new BMW’s and Aprilia’s for our rental fleet and no longer need this one. Per Adam: “I just rode it up and down the local road, kept it on a trickle charger as you can see from the garage photo and it shouldn’t need anything.”
The Moto Guzzi Griso SE was a special edition of the venerable Griso, and it differed from the base bike with a fancy paint job, some blacked-out parts, and spoked wheels.
Mechanically, you also got adjustable suspension, and giant Brembo brakes – this bike was an interesting balance between the style of a custom with the components of a sportbike.
The 8V engine produces 110 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and a healthy 79 ft-lbs of torque at 6,400 rpm.
With the Special Edition Rosso Trophy livery, the bike benefitted from a sharp aesthetics package that included a black engine, a matching chassis and instrument panel covers, as well as some red stitching on the seats and wheels to complement the brilliant tank. As the wonderful Kevin Ash (RIP) once said in an article for BikeEXIF: “…the bike whose looks do the most for me is the Guzzi Griso, sweeping and elegant on the left, overtly mechanical and rugged on the right.”
This example is VIN: ZGULSU026FM200279.
The odometer shows 3,239 miles.
