Description
Please note: We have dropped the minimum buyer fee from $250 to $150. Regarding shipping the seller states, “I’ve been selling on eBay for 20+ years with a 100% feedback rating, so getting it packed up and shipped will be no problem. I always take extra care to ensure buyer satisfaction and it’s always rewarding to hear praise about how well things are packed. I recently shipped a bicycle to Hawaii. I’d say $100 would cover the cost anywhere in the contiguous US.”

The CBR900RR is an iconic bike that needs no introduction and rarely do parts like this new exhaust appear at auction for the Fireblade.
The seller shares some history of these pipes, “The exhaust was removed from my personal bike in the first few days of ownership in June, 1994. The muffler was wrapped in newspaper and stored in a box for 30 years. Through multiple moves and other life events that occur over the span of 30 years, I actually lost track of these parts. Last winter a trustee hired a company to do an ‘estate clean out’ of my mom’s home in Massachusetts. I’m in Oklahoma, so was unable to pick through all the things that were destined for the dumpster. On the day of the clean out, one of the workers came across the header and a large Two Brothers Racing box in the attic. In an incredible stroke of good fortune (and perhaps honesty), the individual recognized the importance of this trove amongst literally tons of things being discarded. They put them aside and notified the trustee that ‘somebody will be looking for these'”.
“This black muffler was only used on the ’93 and ’94 models. I kept the June 1994 newspaper that wrapped the muffler for 30 years. There is no rust, scrapes, or damage. The hardware and gasket are still attached too. I’d say this is as close to NOS as someone can get. The sale includes the header, muffler, gasket, and hardware shown”
Cosmetic Blemishes: please see the album up top for all known cosmetic blemishes. Here is a selection:
“The small chip indicated with pencil in photo is on the back side of the muffler when installed on the bike.”
