2018 was a momentous year in Ducati’s history – their long line of V-Twin superbikes were superseded by an all-new lineup centered around a 1,103cc V4 producing (at minimum) 211 horsepower and 91 lb-ft of torque.
The base model was impressive in its own right, but an additional six grand bought you the “S” model, which came with upgrades such as Marchesini forged aluminum wheels, Ohlins electronic suspension (NIX30 forks, TTX36 shock, steering damper), minor cosmetic tweaks, and a seven pound reduction in curb weight down to 430 pounds.
This example is VIN: ZDMDAGNW6JB000860. The seller purchased the bike in 2021 from V1 Moto in Houseton, Texas, and states, “The bike is currently in a track only configuration, but I have all of the factory OEM parts to return the bike to a street legal configuration if the buyer so chooses.”
The odometer shows 8,468 miles.
Maintenance:
Per the seller, “Brand new Antigravity lithium battery AT7B-BS – purchased September 2024. New Pirelli Superbike slicks (only a few sessions on the tires – date codes of ’22 rear and ’23 front) – purchased May 2024. Fluids: Engine Oil – Motul 300V 15W50 with Hi-Flo Filter. Clutch and Brake Fluid – Brembo LCF 600 Plus. Engine Coolant – VP Racing Stay Frosty Race Ready Coolant. I’d do a full fluid service on the bike now if I was the new owner, just to start fresh, but the fluids still have some service life in them depending on your personal requirements. Engine oil has 600 miles on it. For me, it’s due for new fluids as a track bike. I’ll leave that up to the buyer, as many people have specific preferences for fluids, and service items. Aside from that, the bike is turn key and needs nothing.”
Modifications:
The seller states, “Originally, the bike was all Ducati Red with the factory 2018 smaller OEM fairings. When it was transitioned over to be a full time track bike, it was fitted with brand new 2020 year model larger style fairings and those fairings were professionally painted black with a brushed aluminum look tank. The 43 number on the front fairing is just a vinyl decal without adhesive. It just pulls off and is not permanent nor marking. The bike has been meticulously maintained and has quite a few performance upgrades for the track. Maintenance records totaling over $5,000 will also be included. “
