Luigi Peripoli began making motorcycles in 1957 in the town of Montecchio Maggiore. First using DEMM two-strokes, and later Morini and Zundapp, by 1967 the company was the 7th largest manufacturer in Italy producing mopeds, scooters and even three-wheel delivery vehicles.
Many of their 50cc bikes were marketed under the Giulietta name with different variations such as Mini, Starlux, Monster, GS, and GSS. With Italian laws limiting mopeds to 40kph (25mph) in 1959 and similar laws in France in 1962, many people found the Giulietta easy to modify for increased speed. As a result, it quickly became the most popular moped imported from Italy to France.
This example is VIN: 1081; Engine: 125. An Iconic investor acquired the bike through an Iconic Motorbikes Auction looking to make it run and display it. His circumstances have since changed, so he’d like to find it a new home instead!
The odometer shows 260 miles. However, we cannot confirm its accuracy.

In preparation for the listing, the seller had us pull the top end to remove the top end, make a base gasket, clean the carb, and reassemble the engine. Our service department notes the following in their condition report:
