Holding the title of the first Brutale generation that MV Agusta made, the Brutale 750 was the newest model for the Italian company, debuting originally in 2002. The 750 took the best parts of the tried-and-true F4 like the radial 16-valve engine and the chassis that cradled the EVO3 motor and adopted them in the shape of a naked superbike.
The engine came with the pre-existing changes found in the original F4, such as Mahle cylinders paired with forged pistons, which was good for 127 bhp and 59 lb-ft, all mated to a 6-speed DOHC transmission, offering the high-revving performance expected from the Italian brand’s superbikes. 49mm Showa forks were combined with a Sachs monoshock to provide a sporty and handling-biased ride for any potential owner. As Visor Down wrote in their review of the Brutale 750 S, the motorcycle is “A barking mad bike, but stylish and interesting from every angle with plenty of power.”
This example is VIN: ZCGAJFLJ24V100221. Per the seller, “OK, I admit it, this bike isn’t exactly what we’d call a showroom queen, or concourse ready! I actually bought this bike originally for the drivetrain, the B4-F750 Brutale shares most of the drivetrain components with the contemporary F4S, which I also had one of at the time. After riding it precisely once, I realized just how different these things are, and how much fun it is, compared to the F4. In general, the upright seating position gives me greater leverage on cornering, and dramatically more comfort for medium or longer rides. In specific to this bike though, oh my god – that exhaust setup looks awful compared to stock, but this thing sounds like a Group-B rally car from the 80s. Perhaps even half a screaming F1 V8 engine! Seriously, compared to my F4 which honestly is too quiet, this thing is utterly hilarious. So, whether it’s as a bargain, don’t care about for the money Italian exotic, or as I’d originally intended as a donor bike, this thing has a lot to love about it. Wish I could keep it, of all my Italian sports bikes, this one brought the biggest smile, not just for the money, overall.”
True mileage unknown. The odometer shows 16,481 miles.
