Description
If you’ve been following Iconic for any time, you’ll know that we’re huge fans of Scott Russell. We’ve auctioned off several of his Shoei replica helmets, but today we’re pleased to offer you a set of his signed Kawasaki victory jacket #3 of 400, a signed hat, signed T-Shirt, and Mr. Daytona mini helmet.
In 1992 Scott Russell began his run of the Daytona 200 domination going on to win five titles there throughout the 1990s. This victory jacket was designed to commemorate Kawasaki’s domination of the 1992 season of AMA road racing.
He earned his nickname, Mr. Daytona, in 1995 when he crashed at the Daytona 200 on the second lap. Despite the setback, he managed to not only proceed with the race but also win it outright ahead of Carl Fogarty.
This jacket is an authentic limited edition, originally issued by Kawasaki Motors Corp, USA, #3 of 400.
Signed by AMA Superbike Champion Scott Russell.
The hat is embroidered with the Kawasaki racing slogan “Let the good times roll.”
The hat is also signed by Scott Russell.
Also included in the sale is a 1/12 scale model of Scott Russell’s 1995 Championship Shoei Helmet with “Screeming Chief” design.
