Description

Click here for an VINData Motorcycle History Report on this 2002 Honda CB900F.

In 2002, Honda brought back the CB900F – they called it the Hornet in Europe and the 919 in the US. It was a modern take on the UJM with upright ergonomics, standard bodywork, and a detuned but enlarged inline-four engine from the CBR900RR.

In their first ride review, Sport Rider said: “As a streetfighter…the 919 is stunning. It makes the daily commute fun, and willingly partakes in any antics you may occasionally perform. That Honda chose to give the bike a decidedly sporting bent only endears it to us further, meaning this is one bike that we’ll have to keep for a while.”

This example is VIN: JH2SC48122M000119. The seller is the original owner who purchased the bike new from Temple City Powersports and states, “I bought this bike new in 2002 to have fun and commute if I wanted. Comfortable upright riding position. I mostly rode this back up through the Angeles Forest as my therapy to clear my head. The Yoshimura exhaust has a nice rumble.”

The odometer shows 13,634 miles.

Maintenance:
Per the seller, “Oil changes were done by me every 5,000 miles. New chain, front and rear sprockets replaced last year.”

Modifications:
“Yoshimura dual carbon fiber exhaust and I still have the factory exhaust as well. Puig windscreen. LED headlamp bulb. Aftermarket turn signals. Power commander that is still new in the box and was never installed. Denali soundbomb horn. K&N air filter.”

Inside of the tank:

It is riding on Dunlop Sportmax GPR-300 and Pirelli Diablo Rosso III tires with date codes of 0318 and 3423.

The sale includes one key, owner’s manual, service manual, Power Commander III, and stock exhaust.
