Toni Elias comes from a long line of racers. He is the third in his family to race and was crowned the Moto2 champion in 2010. He started racing the 125cc class in 2000 and in 2001 he took 3rd place overall. During that season he claimed his first race victory at the illustrious track at Assen during the Dutch TT.
Elias went on to the 250cc class the following year and finished in third and fourth for the next few seasons. By 2005 he secured a ride with Fortuna Yamaha and raced in MotoGP until 2010 when he moved back to Moto2 where he raced for various teams including Grisini Honda and Alice Ducati. In 2011 he moved back to GP racing for Team LCR on a Honda RC212V. Elias raced alongside the likes of Valentino Rossi, Kenny Roberts Jr, and Nicky Hayden.
This particular helmet is from Elias’ reigning championship year 2018 in Moto America and is signed by the man himself. The helmet design is a tribute to his father’s helmet designs back in the day when he was multi time Spanish Moto- x champion. It incorporates the retro style wording on the rear of the helmet.
Manufactured in March 2018 this helmet is aged out and is recommended for display purposes only.
The helmet is size medium, 7 1/8 – 7 1/4 inches.
