Click here for an VinData Motorcycle History Report on this 2002 Ducati 748S.

Officially, Ducati called this special grey/white/red paint scheme Titanium Grey, but Ducati fans have called it something slightly different over the years: they call it the “Semi Senna”, as it harks back to the officially licensed Senna 916 from the mid 90s.

Just 250 examples were built, 200 of which were exported to the US. They were only available as a monoposto. As Ducati put it in a period brochure, “the 748S is packed with normally expensive features found only on full race bikes. The latest fully-adjustable Showa forks with TiN anti-friction treatment are matched with a rising rate rear suspension with damping handled by a fully-adjustable Showa rear shock. Light-weight Marchesini wheels and high performance tyres complete the “S’ model. And new for this year [2002], the 748S is available in our most radical colours – titanium grey with red wheels.”

This example is VIN: ZDM1SB3R32B011848. The seller is the third owner. He purchased it from a private party in El Paso, Texas in 2019. “The second owner used the bike as a art/display piece.”

During his ownership, the seller has covered approximately 1,500 miles. The odometer shows 8,816 miles.

Maintenance:
The seller notes that the belts were replaced in March 2025 at Pro Italia. “Recent cam belts, metal fitting under the fuel tank, external hoses replaced, internal fuel pump hoses replaced, new oberon clutch slave cylinder, ceramic clutch bearing, new tires, also done at Pro Italia.”
