Update 6/18: As an import, this bike lacks certain compliance and emissions stickers that the state of California would require to transfer a title.
Honda has always been one of the world’s best at sub-100cc bikes, from commuter bikes for the people to full-on works racers. In the 1990s, they built an homage to the 1962 CR110 (Honda’s first 50cc GP racebike) with a model they called the Dream 50.

The Dream 50 was offered in Japan in 1997 (the CB50V) and 1998 (the CB50W) with the required equipment to be street legal and much more technology than you’d expect from the average 50cc bike – such as dual overhead camshafts as well as dual disc brakes front and rear.

The jewel of an engine was rated for 6 horsepower at just over 10,000 rpm, and the whole package weighed just 157 pounds dry. Honda would offer a race version called the CB50R in the US in 2004, but the CB50V and CB50W are the only to legally experience this little tribute on the street.

This example is VIN: AC151003069.

The odometer shows 2,235 KM which is 1,388 miles.
