2024 Aprilia RSV4 Factory SE-09 SBK 1100 With 3 Miles

$24,075

After a decade of producing its flagship V-Twin platform, Aprilia introduced its all-new RSV4 superbike in 2009. Built to compete in the 2009 World Superbike Championship series, the model was Aprilia’s first-ever four-cylinder offering.

In 2019, Aprilia updated the RSV4 with the same 1,078cc 65-degree V-4 found in its Tuono 1100. Thanks to an increased bore (up from 78mm to 81mm), a 13.6:1 compression ratio, and an additional oil pump, the block generated a respectable 217hp at 13,200rpm and some 90lb-ft of torque at 11,000rpm. To keep its impressive powerplant in check, the RSV4 also benefitted from a suite of top shelf components and rider aids. Suspension duties were handled via a set of NIX 43mm inverted forks and a TTX piggyback shock, while braking was taken care of thanks to some four-pot Brembo Stylema calipers.

Sweetening the deal even further was the RSV4’s gorgeous Italian bodywork. The sharp symmetrical front fairing and angular tail section have been so unanimously adored, that — much like the iconic Tamburini-designed MV F4 — even after more than a decade since the bike’s initial release, Aprilia has done very little to update its looks (aside from the addition of winglets).

With that said, in 2024 Aprilia decided to go back to the introduction of the model in 2009. Per the Italian firm, “It was July 26, 2009 when Max Biaggi won the first unforgettable victory for the Aprilia RSV4 in the Superbike World Championship on the Brno circuit : no one could have known it then, but that was the first episode of a story that has become myth. It was the start of one of the most successful sporting stories ever for a single model in the most important series-derived championship in the world, with an extraordinary haul of seven world titles (3 Drivers and 4 Manufacturers), 44 victories and 102 podiums.” To celebrate Max’s first win (leading to 44 victories and 102 podiums), Aprilia announced a special edition of the RSV4 Factory that they called the SE-09 SBK.

With their GP riders of Aleix Espargaró and Maverick Viñales, Aprilia debuted this special sportbike at the Austin round of MotoGP. The main differentiator was the replica livery of Biaggi’s 2009 WSBK Championship-winning bike, though this limited edition bike also benefitted from a carbon fiber front fender, carbon fiber brake caliper cooling intakes, and a serial numbered fuel tank. MSRP was $26,499.
